Mother Wendy and The Blue Sage

Sorry for the lack of update. It's not that I didn't want to update. I really did, but I was hoping to put together a before and after of the house. Obviously, that isn't on this post, but this should inspite me to put it on the next one. :-)
Well, since we moved in nearly a month ago things have just been crazy. We had put our social calendar on hold while we were working on the house, and now it is filling up quickly!
We usually go the Stillhouse ( Scottish Pub in Oregon City) with a group once a week, David plays pool with Asa at least once a week and when the weather is nice we have people over.
Because we are now able to have a place for company I have now taken on the title of "Mother Wendy." Tahlia Mahar previously held this, but since she has moved to Idaho I have dutifully taken on the role. This last weekend for example we had a BBQ on Friday night, on Saturday Asa and Joe Mickler came over for breakfast and Sunday we had a BBQ leftovers lunch. These boys would be lost without me. :-)

A couple of weeks ago my boss took the office out to the Blue Sage Cafe that just opened down the street from my work. This place is interesting. It looks very trendy on the outside...

...but when you go in it's a very in-your-face country western theme.

When you walk in they hand you a menu and you have to order before you take your seat. Then after you are seated your food comes out in about 10 minutes. It was really good too. I had French Onion soup with a Ceaser salad, however had I known brunch was served until 3:00 I would have ordered a waffle. ;-) Since then I've been trying to go back, but it's always hard to get someone to try a new restaurant. (*hint, hint* to anyone who is reading this :-D)

And did you invite meeeeeee???? Because, you know, it's not like it's right down the hill from my house or anything and my husband works from home much of the time which means I could potentially escape here for a lunch date. But why would a woman with SIX children want to go out with another adult? Silly me. :)

Erica- That should not be an excuse! :)

Rachel- I told to you about it, didn't I? Besides, I didn't think you saw me as an adult. :)
