Beach Trip and New Bathroom Update

This past weekend we enjoyed a fun-filled coastal retreat with John and Nancy Spears.

We're on our way!

Well, not exactly we had some car issues that caused us to be delayed for a few hours...

We're finally here!

Trying to find the caves again! I've been coming to this cabin for five years and I have yet to see it. (I didn't go out this time with them, but they still couldn't get to it.)

Our last stop...a giant Octopus Tree...now I can scratch off that final item on my bucket list.

We had such a great time. I hope to do it again.

We also got some major work done on the new bathroom that it's time for a new update. :)

David got the pipes all covered up in the downstairs. Check it out...it looks like an architectural design that had been there all along.

If you didn't know if wasn't there before you never would think twice about it.

The ceiling is covered nicely too!



John did all the taping, mudding and sanding for us in the bathroom that David can now start priming and painting.

Thanks John you did a mah-velous job!

Today we are going to pick out a color for the bathroom and we need to get out mirror, fixtures and sconces. David is hoping to be mostly done by the end of next week!
